ENG – ASPAC International, a Brussels based company specialized in the supply of drinking water and the treatment of waste water decided to financially support Bike with Diabetes. By doing so, ASPAC significantly helps Bike with Diabetes to make a step forward towards the departure scheduled in September 2017.
ASPAC International is active in Central and East Africa, namely in Kenya which I will be cycling through during my journey.  A typical project designed and constructed by ASPAC includes pumping, treatment, storage and distribution to supply fresh drinking water to the population of Iten (the home of marathon champions in the Rift Valley) and soon also to Kiambaa (North-West area of Nairobi) and Mavoko (South-West area of Nairobi).
In total, over 250.000 people will benefit from the clean water produced by ASPAC International systems in Kenya and several millions all over Africa.

FR – ASPAC International, une entreprise belge basée à Bruxelles spécialisée dans l’assainissement des eaux grises ou polluées et dans le pompage et la distribution d’eau potable a décidé de soutenir Bike with Diabetes financièrement. Ce faisant, ASPAC International apporte une aide considérable à Bike with Diabetes en permettant de faire un pas de plus vers le départ prévu en septembre 2017.
ASPAC International est active en Afrique Centrale et de l’Est, notamment au Kenya par où je passerai durant mon périple. Un exemple de projet typique conçu et réalisé par ASPAC est celui d’Iten, une ville située près de l’Ouganda, dans la Vallée du Rift et réputée pour ses athlètes marathoniens. Ce projet est composé d’une unité de captage, d’une station de traitement et de stockage de l’eau claire et d’une infrastructure de distribution. D’autres projets vont prochainement voir le jour à Kiambaa (faubourg nord-ouest de Nairobi) et Mavoko (faubourg sud-est de Nairobi).
Au total, ce sont plus de 250.000 personnes qui vont bénéficier de l’eau produite par ASPAC International au Kenya et plusieurs millions sur l’ensemble du continent africain.
